After sales Service Terms

Dear Customer,

Thank you for purchasing XC-ESC products. We provide comprehensive after-sales service to protect your rights and interests, ensuring that you receive timely and effective support during use.

(1)Warranty:

1.For the user that has a proof of purchase: Warranty period of car ESC is 9 months after purchasing date listed on proof of purchase (warranty period of C-model is 3 months). Within this period, fault caused by non-artificial factors (like incorrect wiring), XC-ESC provides free repairs.

2. For the user that has no proof of purchase: Warranty period is 9 months after production date (warranty period of C-model is 3 months). Within this period, fault caused by non-artificial factors (like incorrect wiring), XC-ESC provide free repairs.

3. The serial number of production date must be legible (not missing, damaged, dirty, altered etc.).

Note: The max warranty period shall not exceed 9 months (not exceed 3 months for C-model).

(2)Disclaimer:

Warranty of product shall be void if any of the following conditions occur:

1. Warranty period lapse.

2. The user made changes to product, such as disassembled, modified unnecessary settings and changed components, resulting in damage to performance or fault.

3.The user didn’t follow the manual or operate improperly, such as incorrect wiring, unreasonable configuration, abuse, misuse, exposing non waterproof product to liquid etc., resulting in damage or fault.

4.The user didn’t maintain the equipment according to instructions, resulting in fault or damage to product.

5.Products sold through non factory direct or unauthorized legal channels will not enjoy warranty.

(3)Maintenance Principles:

1.Replacement: PCB scrapped and unrepairable, XC-ESC shall provide replacement.

2.Power plug: Plug repair and replacement are not available.

3.Package: No additional boxes for repaired products.

4.Model change: Model change is not available, for those that can’t not be repaired, replacement provided with same model.

5.Scratches on shell: During the repair process, slight scratches may occur, but it does not affect the use of the ESC. The repair department will try to clean the shell as much as possible before sending it back.

6.Labels: The user may bought rebrand product from dealer, the repaired product may be replaced with a new shell and sent back with XC-ESC factory labels as XC-ESC doesn’t have dealer labels.

(4)Paid-repair Service:

Paid-repairs is available for products that are beyond warranty period or damaged by artificial factors. XC-ESC shall check and evaluate whether the defective product can be repaired. If repairs can be made, the cost of components, labor, and shipping etc. will be charged. Warranty period of the repaired product is no more than 60 days (commence on the date of return). Repairs service is not available for discontinued product, returned products that lack repair materials and severely damaged product that not worth repair.

(5)After-sales Service Procedure:

1.Contact Customer Service: Abnormal founded and checked, contact customer service department (by telephone, email or online service).

2.Evaluating: Customer service will contact you to learn the fault and guide you in troubleshooting. If maintenance is necessary, an engineer will serve you.

3.Preparing Solution: XC-ESC prepares plans fault including online guide, return, changing components or software upgrade after analyzing.

4.Return: Please parcel with a paper noted full name, contact information, address and description of symptoms. XC-ESC inspects product after receiving parcel. If maintenance is needed, usually XC-ESC will complete maintenance in 7 days. If product is unrepairable, replacement with sample model will be provided.

5.Send back: XC-ESC will notify you after maintenance is completed and will send it back to you as soon as possible. XC-ESC will make an email follow-up to learn about usage and customer satisfaction.

Shipping fee

1.Chinese Mainland: Product in warranty period, the user shall pay for shipment to XC-ESC, and XC-ESC shall pay for shipping fee of returning product to user after repairs.

2.Outside Chinese Mainland: Regardless of whether it is in warranty, the user shall cover round-trip shipping fee. In order to save shipping fees, please try to contact the local distributor or dealer for centralized return to factory.

3.If the user request XC-ESC to apply software upgrade at factory, the user shall cover round-trip shipping fees.

Remarks: Please ship the defective product by a reputable Express (outside China, DHL, FedEx or UPS is recommended). Please inform XC-ESC customer service of package information for timely receipt after sending product out.

(6)Precautions

  *Please keep the proof of purchase safe so that it can be provided when needed during warranty.

* If fault caused by factors that not covered by warranty, XC-ESC provide paid repair service, please consult customer service for the fees.

*Don’t disassemble or repair the defective product to avoid affecting your warranty rights.

*Shenzhen XC-ESC Technology Co., Ltd reserves the right for final interpretation of above service terms, XC-ESC will update service terms without notice.

We promise to provide you with premium after-sales service, ensuring that your rights and interests will be fully guaranteed.  

(This term applies exclusively to scale RC cars.)
